Savannah’s Senior Speech

This film was created as a submission to NYA’s inaugural Spring Short Film Competition and won for the upper school division.

The film features three high school seniors on the day of their senior speech, a graduation requirement at NYA. One senior is late to the all school event because she fell asleep in class. She uses portals to reach the event just in time to deliver her speech.

Shot on two Canon cameras, the T6i and the 70D with Rhode microphones attached to each camera. A monopod was used as a boom mic and green poster board was used as a green screen to create the portal.
