The Hockney Cam

The Hockney Cam is a digital art installation inspired by David Hockney’s photography. Hockney makes his photo collages by taking pictures of a smaller section of a scene and then laying the printed photos out to recreate the scene. This project tries to mimic that process in real time, allowing viewers to take part and interact with the piece. This project uses code written in the language “Python” and a computer imaging framework called OpenCV.
